Soybean Processing and Biodiesel Production Facility
National Biodiesel Ltd is constructing a US$220 million soybean processing facility at Port Kembla, 100 km South of Sydney, Australia. The facility will utilise proven, cutting edge technology from International supplier Desmet Ballestra to process over a million tonne of soybean into high quality Soybiodiesel® and Soybean Meal – the staple source of protein in animal feed.
Development Approval has been awarded for this facility (5/5/2009) and was announced by Minister for Lands, the Hon. Tony Kelly in Port Kembla (18/5/2009).
